Services

Curriculum & Lab Development 

Design or refine course curriculum and laboratory experiences to reflect current industry practice and equipment. Develop lab specifications, safety protocols, and hands-on learning sequences grounded in real manufacturing and engineering technology environments.

New Program Development 

Advise on the feasibility, design, and launch of new engineering technology or technical programs, including curriculum mapping, resource needs assessment, and alignment with industry demand.

Advisory Board Facilitation 

Establish or revitalize an industry advisory board, including member recruitment, meeting facilitation, and structured input processes. Translate advisory board feedback into actionable curriculum and program changes.

Faculty Development & Mentoring 

Mentor faculty on technical curriculum design, industry-relevant instruction, and program leadership. Support new or early-career faculty in navigating promotion, tenure, and departmental expectations within technical education.

Program Assessment & Continuous Improvement 

Develop or strengthen a program's outcomes assessment system, including data collection instruments, rubrics, and closing-the-loop documentation. Support faculty in building sustainable, audit-ready continuous improvement processes.

Accreditation Support (ABET ETAC & Other Bodies) 

Guide programs through the self-study and accreditation process, including criteria mapping, outcomes alignment, documentation, and site visit preparation. Draws on direct leadership through an ABET ETAC accreditation cycle — including leading the self-study that earned ABET accreditation for Tarleton State University's Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs, effective September 2026 — with proven self-study methodology applicable to ATMAE and other accrediting bodies.

Industry-Education Partnership Development 

Advise manufacturers on structuring meaningful engagement with engineering technology programs — beyond guest lectures — including equipment and materials donation programs, advisory board participation, and curriculum input channels that translate industry needs into classroom outcomes.
